Everything you see in the proposal – cameras, NVR, hard drives, poles, trenching, cabling, network equipment, power installation, backup power and commissioning. There are no hidden extras for a standard installation.
Can I access my cameras remotely?
Yes. Your system is configured with HikConnect, giving you secure live access to all cameras and recorded footage from any smartphone, tablet or computer – from anywhere in the world.
What happens during load-shedding?
Each package includes a Sunsync 1 KVA inverter and a 3 KWh lithium battery. Your cameras and network equipment remain fully operational during power outages, ensuring there are no security blind spots.
What does 24/7 monitoring include?
Our off-site control room operators monitor live feeds on an event-triggered basis. When a camera detects activity, an operator verifies the threat and coordinates a rapid response – reducing false alarms and ensuring genuine incidents are acted on immediately.
How long does installation take?
A standard installation typically takes between two and four days depending on site complexity, the extent of trenching required and access conditions. Your project manager will confirm a clear timeline during the planning phase.
Is the quote price fixed?
Quotes are valid while stocks last and subject to change due to exchange rate fluctuations, as equipment pricing is impacted by the Rand/Dollar rate. We recommend confirming availability and pricing at the time of acceptance.
Can I upgrade from an 8-camera to a 16-camera system later?
Yes. Both systems use the same 16-channel NVR, which means the 8-camera package has capacity to expand. Our team can advise on a phased upgrade path that protects your initial investment.
